The trip from the airport to Laxgalts’ap and back again is approximately 300 km along Highway 113, the Nisga’a Highway. Follow signs to the museum, which is 1 km past the village of Laxgalts’ap.
There is a gas bar in Laxgalts’ap as well as a gas bar and convenience store in Gitlaxt’aamiks (New Aiyansh).
The highway to Laxgalts’ap takes many twists and turns through valleys, along rivers and lakes, and through the memorial lava beds. You may view wildlife along the way. Drive with care.
